Stuhrling skeletonized mechanical automatic timepieces

Classic Culture of Skeletonized Watch Making

The Bardolatry Series was made to honor the most recognizable writer in all of English history, William Shakespeare. Here you will find spectacular timepieces that honor and exemplify the history and classic culture of watch-making, and while all of them have distinct personalities of their own, you will also notice that they have many similarities that bind them all together as one cohesive family; every single one of these timepieces have mechanical movements, and all of them have a skeletonized dial! Now we introduce to you the Prospero. The Prospero offers up a very different look that you rarely see in skeletonized mechanical automatic timepieces. While it does have that exposed movement, it’s also done in such a way that the opening is off center, not toward 12 o’clock or 6 o’clock as you’ve seen with other members of this collection, but shifted over toward 3 o’clock! This is an unprecedented and unique style that gives it its distinctive face. Take a closer look at the prominently displayed movement; the sheer elegance of its complication is enough to take your breath of away, from the balance wheel that features the beautiful bridge design to the series of propeller-like design above the mainspring and other complications. The Prospero offers baton-style indices, as well as Arabic numerals for 12 and 6, while stainless steel screws act as hour markers. The textured dial gives this timepiece an extra level of depth that draws your attention and keeps it there. As you can expect from a Stuhrling Original timepiece, the Prospero has a solid 316L surgical grade stainless steel case, which measures in at a very impressive 49mm case design. It comes mounted on alligator embossed genuine leather straps, each with divots at the base to match the divot design on the dial.
